Amy Fishbach, Art Teacher

Amy Fishbach has taught at the Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School for over twenty five years as an art teacher.  She went to the College of Wooster and Ursuline for her Bachelor of Art in Fine Arts and received her Masters of Education from Cleveland State. In 2003, Amy was honored with the “Elementary Art Teacher of the Year” award given by Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio. Amy’s passion for the visual arts is expressed in part by the fact that she can never take enough art classes.  Every year, Amy takes a week-long art workshop at the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina. Locally, Amy takes classes at the Cleveland Institute of Art and the Morgan Papermaking Conservatory. In her free time, Amy sings, plays ukulele and travels to music festivals with her partner Laszlo.
