Hannah Zust, Lower School Teacher

 

Hannah Zust has worked at the Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School since 2016. She has worked as an early childhood educator in Gan Garin 2’s and Gan Alonim Pre-K. Hannah currently works in our lower school with experience in Kindergarten and Second Grade. Hannah is a licensed Early Childhood Educator in the state of Ohio. She attended John Carroll University for her Bachelor’s degree and finished her education to obtain a K-12 Reading Endorsement. Recently, Hannah has been trained in Responsive Classroom and catching up students who have fallen behind in Math.  As a teacher in Jewish early childhood education, Hannah continues to be committed to supporting each child's approach towards learning in all areas of development. A professional goal of Hannah’s is to create a safe and nurturing environment for her students and their families. It is important for her to make each child feel valued and each parent’s voice heard. When not at school, Hannah enjoys spending time with her son Noah and husband Zach, cooking Pinterest recipes, traveling to see her family in Youngstown, and going on walks with her dogs Bella & Brie.
