Heather Lenson, Librarian


Heather Lenson has been the librarian at the Joseph and Florence Mandel Day School since 2016.  Heather has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. She previously worked as the media specialist at the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland's (JECC) Ratner Media & Technology Center (RMC) from the years 2006-2015. She served on the Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL) Sydney Taylor Book Award Committee from 2014-2017. The Committee recognizes excellence in Jewish children's literature. Heather is the editor of the Jewish Valuesfinder, a selective database that identifies the Jewish values found in books written for Jewish children and teens.
