Toby Lausin, English Language Learner Instructor

Toby joined Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School in 2019. This is her sixth year teaching English as a Second Language. She has a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The George Washington University and a Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Tel Aviv University. She went on to obtain a K-8 Ohio teaching license in the field of TESOL. Toby's passion for teaching ESL stems from her love of languages and her six years spent in Israel. During her time at Mandel, Toby has completed trainings in the Wilson Reading Program and Fundations. When she's not at school, she loves coffee, gardening, and her four cats.
