Ayala Goren, Hebrew Teacher

 

Ayala Goren joined the Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School as a Shlicha from Israel in 2022. Prior to working at Mandel JDS, Ayala worked at HOTAM Teach First Israel – where she taught and mentored new teachers working in disadvantaged communities. She has over 10 years of teaching experience including mathematics, science and Jewish heritage for elementary school students and Hebrew as a second language. Ayala earned her teaching diploma from Levinsky College of Education in Tel Aviv, an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the Open University of Israel, and a masters degree in Organization Consultancy from Ono Academic College.
