Day School Endowment Initiative

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland, with the visionary support of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Supporting Foundation, has launched the groundbreaking Day School Transformation Initiative—a historic investment in the future of Jewish education.

We at Mandel JDS are honored and deeply grateful for the Federation’s leadership and the Mandel Foundation’s extraordinary generosity. This is a game-changer for our school: a chance to secure $10 million in matching funds, doubling our endowment growth to $20 million!

This remarkable investment is more than just a financial commitment—it’s a resounding endorsement of the essential role Jewish day schools play in shaping strong Jewish identity, leadership, and community. It’s a bold statement of confidence in our mission and a testament to the lasting impact our graduates will have on the Jewish world and beyond.

Together, we are building a stronger Jewish future.

A Transformational Opportunity for Mandel JDS

This extraordinary gift fuels our future—recruiting and retaining the best teachers, making a Mandel JDS education accessible for all, and sustaining innovation and excellence in education.

Now, it’s our turn. The Mandel Foundation’s generosity challenges us to rise to the occasion. By meeting the matching funds requirement, we secure the future of Jewish education for generations to come.
