| We are pleased to announce that our students will again have an opportunity to participate in the 2026 Greater Cleveland Council Of Teachers Of Mathematics Math Contest. The 44th annual tournament will be held as follows: 4th & 5th Grade- February 12, 2026 at 10 am Students compete in teams of 4 6th-8th Grade- March 6, 2026 at 10 am Students compete in teams of 3 Mandel JDS will be a host site for both contest dates, held during the regular school day. The opportunity to participate is open to ALL math students! If your child would like to participate, please email me, Bob Francis, or have your child communicate this to me by December 16. My goal is to have all teams set by winter break. After break, we will hold informal 'practices' approximately once a week to allow students to work on the problem solving skills they will use for the contest.
