Grace Rieniets, Lower School Teacher

Grace joins Mandel JDS in 2026 as a fourth year teacher. She holds her B.S. in Child Development from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University. Grace comes to us after serving in Teach for America as a First Grade Teacher on the West side of Chicago where she gained a passion for literacy and culturally relevant pedagogy. Before Teach for America, Grace worked as a Remote Learning Coordinator in Nashville, TN where she discovered her love for teaching. 

 

Outside of the classroom, you can find her visiting the MetroParks, taking care of her puppy and two cats, alternating between fiction and non-fiction reading, or cooking through Ina Garten's library.
