Gabriella Tuchman

Gabriella Tuchman is excited to join the Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School for the 2026-2027 school year! She graduated from Hunter College CUNY in 2021 with a BA in History. Gabriella has diverse teaching experience, including teaching English as a second language to Israeli elementary school students through the Masa Israel Teaching Fellows, being the immersion specialist for a group of students at a Jewish Day school in New York, participating as a reading specialist for elementary school students in Cleveland through AmeriCorps, and most recently teaching junior high social studies and science for a school in Cleveland. Outside of school, Gabriella enjoys being in nature, building her Jewish community, and spending time with her wife and two cats. She looks forward to building relationships with her students and helping foster a love of Judaism and Hebrew within them!
