Cassandra Wood, Nurse at Mandel JDS

Cassandra earned her Bachelor of Nursing Science from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and has since worked as a Registered Nurse caring for children in pediatric critical care, oncology, and medical-surgical settings. She has also had the pleasure of serving as both a nurse and Health Center Manager at Camp Wise, where she developed a deep appreciation for supporting children and families in a community setting. Cassandra is currently pursuing her Master of Nursing Science with a focus on Healthcare Quality Improvement. At Mandel JDS, she is passionate about promoting the health and well-being of students and staff while creating opportunities for students to build healthy habits and develop lifelong skills in health promotion. She is excited to be part of the Mandel JDS community and looks forward to getting to know and supporting its students and families.
