Visit.

Seeing Mandel JDS in action is the best way to understand the educational experience provided to our students.  Set up a visit, Monday – Friday from 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., by contacting Laura Simon or 216-464-4055. ext. 106. You (and your child) are welcome to visit more than once and are encouraged to meet with members of our Educational Leadership Team while at Mandel JDS.  Additionally, there are numerous parent/child events that you can attend to experience our programming for yourself.  Please visit our Calendar of Events page for more information.

Apply.

Admission Applications are done online using TADS (Tested And Designed for Schools).  To apply, simply click here and begin: TADS.  Please note that applicants must be of grade level age by September 30 of their enrollment year.  Students entering Kindergarten – 8th grade are required to visit the school and undergo grade level readiness assessments.  Additionally, teacher recommendations and prior academic records are required for making admission decisions.

Get Accepted.

The Admission Committee will assemble all application materials, recommendation forms, student records and assessment results to make admission decisions.  In cases where there are more qualified applicants than spaces, some families may be placed on a waiting list for later admission if space becomes available.

Begin.

Acceptance letters and Tuition Agreements will be mailed to new students on a rolling basis.  Enrollment Contracts and deposits are due back within 30 days.  After a family has completed the admission process, they may enter the tuition assistance process (also on TADS).  The Tuition Assistance process is separate from the admission process, is confidential and available for students in grades K-8.
