WHY SUPPORT MANDEL JDS?

Mandel JDS depends on philanthropic support to accomplish its many goals, and we hope that parents, grandparents, alumni and friends of the school will participate in our fund-raising efforts.

Give While You Shop

Heinins’s ABC Program – Please re-register each year.  Every time you swipe your Heinen’s card a percent of the purchase comes to Mandel JDS!  It costs you NOTHING and provides thousands of dollars a year for the school. http://www.heinensrewards.com

Boxtops for Education – they’re everywhere.  Kleenex brand tissues, Ziploc baggies, all General Mills products…and each time you clip a coupon, it’s money for the School.  Collection containers are in the front hall and in classrooms!  Boxtops funds have purchased one of the flagpoles in the front of the school, and sports and recess equipment.  Currently, this initiative helps to fund the 8th grade Israel trip.

Giant Eagle Apples for Students – every time you swipe your customer card, Mandel JDS earns points to purchase from a catalog of thousands of items.  The beauty of the program: it costs you nothing!  Register online or at any Giant Eagle store, designate Mandel JDS for your charity, and swipe your card.  http://www.gianteagle.com/schools/apples-for-students

Ink cartridge recycling – Mandel JDS collects computer and fax machine ink cartridges for recycling.  Proceeds are used to purchase new cartridges and computer supplies.  Simply drop off cartridges in the front office.  If you are willing to place a recycle box in your office, Mandel JDS will arrange for pick-up when the box is full!

Target - Take Charge of Education Program – If you have a Target charge card or are getting one, PLEASE designate Mandel JDS as your school of choice.  A portion of every purchase is donated to Mandel JDS and you save 5% off every purchase.  http://www.target.com/tcoe

Gift Card Program – purchase gift cards in the Mandel JDS office and 4.75 – 25% of the card value is donated to Mandel JDS.
